huggo short film
‘huggo’ is heartfelt short film written by Rachael Sampson and produced by Fly Girl Films.
THE BRIEF:
This brief was carried out alongside Phunk Creative. Huggo is a “heartfelt, grief-stricken story softly wrapped in humour and eccentricities”. The writer of ‘Huggo’ came to Phunk in need of a poster for the movie premier and some social media assets.
THE PROBLEM:
‘Huggo’ was premiering quite quickly in a multitude of short film festivals, and it was without any promotional material such as posters or social media assets. They needed a modern film poster that fit the aesthetic of the film and looked high end and professional.
THE SOLUTION:
We watched the short film for context, and I looked at other film posters within the industry. This led to the creation the poster for ‘Huggo’ which was used as promotional material surrounding it’s release. This was also adapted for their social media pages.
